Samples of Eulogies

The Rabbi's role at a funeral is to bring comfort to the mourners and pay tribute to the deceased. One of the key elements is the חספד (Chesped), or eulogy. Here are some sample eulogies that I have delivered at funerals. "A" was a young woman who died from cancer a few weeks after her youngest child's Bar Mitzvah. "M" was a woman who left behind a loving family, husband, children and grandchildren.
